Level 4: Introductory Diploma in Management

Overview

Out of Hours, in conjunction with Bourneville Business School are, delighted to be able to offer the Chartered Management Institute’s Level 4 Award in Management through the Business Link Director Development Programme (DDP).
 
The DDP allows any Director or Manager in a West Midlands based company with between 5-249 employees to access funding to cover the cost of this course.  If you would like to be part of this programme then please get in contact with us
 
This degree-level course is ideal for those with little time who want to gain a management qualification, while retaining the option to move onto the considerably longer Level 4 Diploma in Management.

Modules

The Introductory Diploma covers the below subjects:

• Developing Your Management Style
• Managing Information and Communication
• Focusing on Customers and Marketing
• Planning and Managing Resources
• Recruiting and Selecting Staff
• Maintaining and Improving Health, Safety and Quality
• Working With Others

These will be delivered over 4 days (Developing Your Management Style is a day long with the remaining modules being ½ a day each). 

 

Delivery


All the modules are independent and the order of study is unimportant.  This means that the course is fully flexible. The course will start running on Wednesday 14th January 2008 and a workshop will be run on every 2nd Wednesday of the month from there on. 

 

You can start the course on any day that you like and if you cannot attend a date, then simply wait 4 months and attend the repeat.
